Tempus Fugit

I am not sure whether this is the zenith or the nadir of my entertainment ‘career’ (I use that term in the loosest possible way…so loose it might even slip off unexpectedly), but today I found out I get to sing a solo verse about syphillus in the ‘Sexually Transmitted Diseases Medley’ in the Med Revue this year.

The tunes we’re singing (in a gospel-type choir clad in surgical scrubs) includes:

It’s beginning to sound a lot like Syphyllis (to the tune of It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas

Herpes (to the tune of My God … nothing you can say can cure him today from herpes….)

Gonorrhoea (to the tune of Hail Holy Queen …sung sister act style)

It’s shaping up to be an interesting show…and shock-horror of horrors, we actually sing in harmony!!
