Tempus Fugit

Time Flies…

E Tickets are not nearly as exciting as paper tickets.

I went in to the travel agent today to pick up my tickets – to be given a piece of paper with my itinerary on it and to be told all I need to is show my passport.

Humpf. It was far more funnerer when you were given a wad of paper tickets complete with the red carbon backing that you could get your fingers dirty on. It was also a nice memento to be able to keep your used ticket stub with the knowledge it had been travelling with you.

A piece of paper with a booking number on it does not have the same mystique.

Oh well. Fact is… I’m going round the world. That in itself is very fun and exciting. This time next month I will be in the air winging my way to Singapore en route to London. Yay.

This time next month I will be free from the shackles of exams…..pass or fail. Yay!

There you go! Hold onto that thought for the next 600-odd hours you have left – if all else fails (including you) then you will not be in the country to worry about it (until you get back of course, but let’s not talk about that!)
