Time Flies…

Time Flies

Only two more days of hospitalling….yay.

Sweden this weekend. Yay.

Sister arriving in Kobenhavn this evening. Yay.

Results out next week….maybe not so Yay!

Heard an Aussie accent today when I was walking in the street and for the first time whilst over here I felt homesick. I am absolutely amazed at how much effect it had on me and how much it really does sound Australian….

Walked past a restaurant today called ‘Reef ‘n’Beef’ and cracked up when I saw the menu….’Australian’ cuisine including crocodile, emu, kangaroo….which of course we all love to eat. Barramundi was prohibitively expensive.

I never knew that pepper grew in the wilderness of Tasmania….and found it highly amusing that nearly every dish had something in it from Tasmania…nothing to do with a certain Crown-Princess of this country or anything. I must try Wild Tasmania Pepper next time I am down that part of the world.

It cannot be denied that when it comes to the European cuisines, no part of Australia is better catered in terms of raw materials than Tasmania.
